Espwa Berlancia is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization committed to the fight against malnutrition in Haiti. Denouncing the lie that an orphanage can provide better than a family, they exist to partner with caregivers to discover the resources that they need to provide for their children and preserve their family unit.

Haiti Design Co-op

Haiti Design Co-op houses and partners with production teams working in many types of artisan crafting, including leatherwork, sewing, jewelry making, aluminum casting, metal work, weaving, beadwork, horn & bone, tailoring, and shoe making. They work to provide consistent employment in-house in order to give job training and stability to individuals in vulnerable situations, as well as raise up artisan leaders to succeed as independent entrepreneurs in the community.

Papillon Enterprise

Papillon Enterprise is a socially and ecologically conscious business with a mission of stimulating the Haitian economy by exporting and marketing Haitian goods. They are creating jobs for mothers & fathers who don’t want to have to abandon their children to an orphanage because they can’t feed them. With hundreds of visitors per day, including many celebrities, The Cafe at Papillon Enterprise serves as both a resting place for shoppers and a point of opportunity for many Haitians seeking employment in the service industry.

Wings Of Refuge

Wings of Refuge Children’s Home opened its doors on May 21, 2011 to 7 children. The Home’s purpose was to provide a safe place where children would be provided for, raised in love, given life, and equipped to give the hope of Jesus Christ to Haiti and the world. What began in a rented space with 7 children and 4 staff members has grown into a beautiful home of refuge for 34 children and 15 staff members.

Child Hope International

Child Hope International is a Christian organization that exists to provide orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk children In Haiti with physical, educational, spiritual, and personal care through homes, programs, and ministries that are centered on the love and knowledge of Christ Jesus.

MyLifeSpeaks

MyLifeSpeaks focuses on 3 major areas: Orphan care & prevention, education, and public health. Their education initiative has a strong focus on special needs education. Harvest107 was invited to come along side of MLS on their rooftop garden project and serving as consultants. The relationship between the two organizations has since grown and Harvest107 is looking forward future projects with MyLifeSpeaks.

Zanfan Lakay

The kids at Zanfan Lakay are there for various reasons and they all have a different story. Many of these stories are filled with pain and hopelessness. This home for former street kids is an amazing example of what can happen when people come together for the greater good. Zanfan Lakay was founded by couple from California under their organization, Grangou.

Maison des Enfants de Dieu

This orphanage is home to over 70 children, most of whom have been abandoned since the earthquake in January, 2010, either by loss of parents, or by birth parents that cannot care for them. Harvest107 has worked hard to give these children a high yielding micro-farm to supplement their usual diet of just rice and beans.
