Meet Johnny Pepper. His “real” name is Jonathan and he was found in the trash in Port au Prince, Haiti about 3 weeks ago. He is malnourished and starving to death.
Johnny Pepper is the reason that we do what we do. By making healthy, nutritous food accessible and affordable (or free) and providing people with education on growing food and nourishing their families, we help prevent more Johnny Peppers.
We have to believe that if Johnny Pepper’s mom had the resources to feed and nourish her baby that she wouldn’t have given up hope for him.
Johnny is a reminder to us to not stop until fresh, nutritious food is available to everyone on the planet.
