We just received an update from one of our latest projects! Franckis Alexis, the garden manager at the Maison des Enfants de Dieu orphanage, has reported that everything is growing great. We are especially excited about the progress of our greens. Local farmers told us that there was no way to grow lettuce in Haiti. We developed a vertical shelf system that is proof that where there is a will, there is a way. The orphanage will be enjoying fresh, organic lettuce in about 2 weeks time.
