Earth Day is great and all, BUT we think that our planet deserves more than just one day of celebration! 2014 marked the first annual Harvest107 EARTH MONTH kickoff party! Our friends in East Nashville, 1907 Apparel, invited us out to their neighborhood for a family fun day. The main activity was building seed pots from repurposed materials. The pots are made from newspaper, so we decided that we would ONLY use the Nashville Contributor and support the homeless.

The Earth Month kickoff celebration went great! We raised awareness in the community while we had fun with all the kids who came out. This is just the first of many more events to come. We will posting an instructional video about the seed pots very soon.

The Contributor

We have a huge place in our heart for the homeless. Throughout the year, we do activities to support their community and thanks to The Contributor newspaper we could help out again. If you are not familiar with Nashville’s homeless newspaper, you can learn more here.
