Our Story
From a Spark to a Movement...
At just 12 years old, Gracie Pfaff was inspired by a book. A true story of a failing farm revived through sustainable practices. This sparked a fire within her, a determination to address the global issue of hunger and malnutrition. Thus, Harvest107 was born.
Through urban gardens and rural partnerships, we're tackling hunger at its roots. In food deserts, we establish micro-farms in schools, educating children and communities on sustainable gardening practices. In rural areas, we partner with female farming communities, providing education, resources, and the tools needed to improve crop yields and empower women as agribusiness leaders.
From a single garden outside Nashville, Tennessee, now feeding 24 families fresh produce, to a Haitian farming partner sending all four children to school after applying Harvest107's training – these stories are testaments to our transformative power.
Harvest107's journey is far from over. Our vision extends across borders, with plans to expand into Nicaragua, and potentially Panama & Ghana next. We are also developing digital education platforms to reach even more individuals with sustainable agriculture knowledge.
Since its inception, Gracie has guided Harvest107 with a gentle hand, a listening ear, and an unwavering commitment to learning alongside those we serve.
